Anita Fleerackers

I am born in 1959 in Tielen, Belgium; the very countryside.
Due to this roots, I have strong feelings with the elements in nature: water, earth and fire.

First, I have made my Education at the Municipal Academy for Fine Arts - Turnhout - Belgium, Direction Applied Arts, Specialisation Ceramics supervised by Walter De Wolf and Gerda Steegmans.
Due to my preference for Visual Arts and Sculpture, I switched to Direction Visual Arts, Specialisation Sculpture, supervised by Staf Colruyt, Walter Frans and Soi Veldeman.
I completed my Education Visual Arts at the Royal Academy of Arts - Antwerp, Belgium, Higher Degree, Direction Visual Arts, Specialisation Sculpture, supervised by Maria Talaga, Bruna Hautman and Joris Geest.

The source of my inspiration is the circle of acquaintances, the community, where I see in the very depths of the soul, a strong demand for an equilibrium in this hectic
world.
With my work, I am creating a restfulness    atmosphere for the audience.
